Quietude

Florida is where I grew up in a water family of diving and fishing. Turtles are one of my favorite subjects to paint.

This one is a dawn painting, mostly because I prefer that time of day, but you’re welcome to view it as sunset if you like that better. In any case, it’s a peaceful time for this turtle, thus, my daughter named this one Quietude.

The original is 16×20” with finished edges but I recommend framing it for the best look.
