Dune’s Purple Shade

I love sand dunes and sea grasses. They’re much more common on the Gulf coast, as are the fine white sand beaches, so I do a lot of paintings featuring that side of the state rather than the yellow more coarse sand of the Atlantic coast. This piece is done using the newer style I’m adapting showing more brushstrokes. I love the look and it goes so well with the beachy shadows.
