Jimmy

Florida is where I grew up. Beaches, boating, diving, fishing, listening to Jimmy Buffet songs and wearing T-shirts with his crazy images and logos. Tropical scenes and critters are my favorite subject matter and of the birds, it’s always the parrots. Buffet fans were even called Parrotheads.

I had just sketched this one out when the news broke that Jimmy passed. It was a tearful day. So I named this guy Jimmy in honor of our world famous Marguarita man.

The original is 8×16” and highly textured. I recommend framing it for the best look.
