I Am Woman

I created this piece to enter in a show themed “The Strength of Women”. I had seen a model in this pose and thought it looked strong, even regal, and I wanted to paint her. Of course, the colors had to be vibrant, and I just recently updated the piece to add the gold leaf. The art won Viewers Choice.

The original is 18×24” acrylic with varnished gold leaf and deep finished sides, ready for hanging.
